It’s hard to believe that our students are preparing to graduate from Vista Verde School! To mark this exciting milestone, we’re delighted to share details about our 8th Grade Promotion events—a long-standing Vista Verde tradition designed to celebrate our students together as a class.
🌟 8th Grade Promotion Events
These events are thoughtfully planned as a cohesive promotion experience, giving every student the opportunity to participate fully and create lasting memories with their peers.
• 8th Grade Formal & Dinner
Friday, May 29 — Vista Verde MPR
• Disneyland Trip
Tuesday, June 2 — Includes park admission and bus transportation
• Promotion Ceremony
Wednesday, June 3 — Vista Verde Blacktop
• 8th Grade Student Breakfast
Thursday, June 4 — Vista Verde Atrium
💳 Cost & Payment Information
The total cost for the 8th Grade Promotion experience is $225 per student.
This amount covers only a portion of the actual expenses. Through the support of the Vista Verde Foundation, the Vista Verde PTA and generous family sponsorships, we are able to offer this series of graduation events at a significantly reduced cost.
To support planning, contracts, and the shared experience for all students and families, the promotion activities are not priced individually. Participation fees are applied to the overall program rather than to specific events.
If your student holds an annual Disneyland pass, please reach out to us directly so we can arrange an alternate price.

Payments may be made via the preferred methods – Venmo, Zelle or by check. An online payment portal will also be available for those who prefer to pay by credit card.

💙 Financial Assistance
We understand this is big investment, and we want every student to be able to participate. Confidential financial assistance is available for families who may need support.

⭐ Sponsorship Opportunities
To help offset remaining costs and support students receiving financial assistance, we welcome family and community sponsorships. Sponsorships directly support event expenses such as decorations, entertainment, meals, transportation, keepsakes, and scholarships—allowing us to keep student costs as accessible as possible.
All sponsors will be recognized in the Promotion Ceremony program book. (Please note how your family would like to be acknowledged in the transaction memo.)
Sponsorship Levels:
• Platinum Sponsor — $500
• Gold Sponsor — $200
• Silver Sponsor — $100
• Bronze Sponsor — $50
